Connect Gank (ganknow.com)

This guide is for streamers who take donations through Gank (ganknow.com). You connect by copying your Alert overlay URL from Gank and pasting it into the app — the app connects directly to Gank's alert feed. Once connected, every donation flows into the same queue as your other sources (TTS + overlay), with USD amounts converted to THB automatically.

What you'll need​

  • A working Gank account (ganknow.com)
  • Donari open, with access to the Settings page
  • A browser to log into Gank

Step 1 — Copy your Alert overlay URL from Gank​

  1. Sign in at ganknow.com and open your account page (top-right after sign-in)
  2. Open the "Stream" menu in the side bar — that's where your Alert overlay URL lives
  3. Copy the full Stream URL (it starts with https://stream.ganknow.com/...)

:::warning Treat the URL like an API key The Alert URL has a token embedded in it — anyone who gets it can fake donations into your system. Don't show it on stream or share it. :::

Step 2 — Paste the URL into the app​

  1. In the app, go to Settings (sidebar) → Connections tab
  2. Find the 🎮 Gank (ganknow.com) section
  3. Paste the Alert URL into the Gank Alert URL field → click Save

Step 3 — Check the status and test​

  1. Watch the status dot next to Gank in the app (it may take a few seconds to connect)
  2. Fire a Test / test alert from your Gank page to see the overlay pop
  • 🟢 Green = Connected — the app is hooked into Gank's feed
  • 🔴 Red = not connected — confirm the full URL is pasted (starts with https://stream.ganknow.com/) and saved

:::tip Test = preview only Gank's Test button fires the overlay + reads TTS so you can see it, but it does not record a real donation — no leaderboard change, no TTS budget spent. :::

Tips & Troubleshooting​

  • Status stuck on Disconnected: the Gank feed is an undocumented API and its endpoint can change — try copying a fresh Alert URL, pasting it, and saving again.
  • THB amount looks off: Gank sends amounts in USD and the app converts to THB at the current rate — so the figure is an estimate based on the exchange rate.
  • Donations come in but the overlay doesn't fire: make sure the overlay is open in OBS and the queue isn't muted/paused.
