Getting Started with Donari
Welcome! This guide walks you through setting up the app from zero to your first donation, plus getting an overlay into OBS.
What you'll needâ
- A modern browser (Chrome / Edge / Firefox) â Donari is a web app you use in the browser
- OBS Studio (for adding the overlay as a Browser Source)
- An account on each platform you want to connect:
- Streamlabs (if you use it)
- Google account (for YouTube Live Chat)
- Twitch account (if you use it)
Step 1 â Sign inâ
- Open the Donari URL in your browser
- Sign in with your Google account
:::note Alpha access Donari is currently in Internal Alpha â access is invite-only. Contact the team to request access. :::
All your data and settings live in your account â sign in from any machine and pick up right where you left off.
Step 2 â Pick a language (optional)â
The app supports Thai / English â switch from the Sidebar / Header (in the UI).
Step 3 â Connect your first sourceâ
Head to Settings â Connections and connect at least one source:
Step 4 â Set up TTSâ
Go to Settings â TTS Voice and pick a provider:
- Web Speech API (free, no API key needed) â recommended for getting started
- Google Cloud TTS / OpenAI TTS / Gemini TTS â higher quality
Step 5 â Add the overlay to OBSâ
- Go to Settings â Overlay and pick a preset (e.g. Classic Box)
- Copy the OBS Browser Source URL (Compact mode recommended)
- In OBS â + Sources â Browser â paste the URL you just copied

Step 6 â Test the systemâ
Open the Test page (sidebar) â fill in the mock donation fields â click Send Test
- If everything's wired up: the overlay pops in OBS preview and you'll hear the TTS voice.
